In late 2017 Michael & Brigitte Barker decided to buy and restore this heritage building and convert it into boutique accommodation. They also built the Barker’s Foodstore & Eatery next door to showcase their Barker’s of Geraldine range. Michael has now retired from Barker’s of Geraldine but continues to support it as an enthusiastic Brand Ambassador while he operates The Vicarage Geraldine.
Accommodation
The Vicarage Geraldine has 6 superking ensuite rooms. All rooms are completely refurbished in a contemporary style that is sympathetic to the building’s distinguished heritage. Feature wallpaper behind the bed contrasts with the simple off-white decor, plaster cornices, ceiling rose and an elegant chandelier. Superking beds, quality cotton linen, feather duvets and ensuite bathrooms.
- The superking beds can be split into two king singles upon request. An extra $35 housekeeping fee is payable
- An upstairs two room suite can be offered
- Room Two downstairs is a wheelchair friendly Accessible Room
- Exclusive use of the entire property is popular with friends & family groups. Sleeps 12 max in 6 rooms.
- The two shared sitting rooms, including a deck area and kitchenette give space to relax and prepare meals.
- Three rooms are downstairs with an outside table and chairs on a small patio. Three upstairs rooms (no lift) with views.

- For breakfast & lunch, Barker’s of Geraldine Foodstore & Eatery is right next door, 8:30am-4:30pm.

- There are several restaurants within 200m of the Vicarage. The Village Inn is open 7 days.
