If driving from Hokitika, take SH6 south over the Hokitika River. Turn left onto Arthurstown Road, proceed 4km to intersection. (Kaniere Bridge on left). Turn right and drive approximately 3km along Woodstock-Rimu Road to Rimu. Turn left into Seddons Terrace Road. We are 300 metres on left.
If travelling north from the glaciers, 11km north of Ross turn right into Woodstock-Rimu Road and continue 10km to Rimu. Turn right into Seddons Terrace Road. We are 300 metres on left.

The lodge is on the edge of Hokitika township so just a 10 minute drive to the centre, restaurants and shops. Enjoy browsing in Hokitika’s greenstone and jewellery shops, explore some of the excellent local hikes and beautiful riverside walks, visit the Treetop Walkway and cafe or venture south to Franz Joseph Glacier (1hr 40). A good base to stop after crossing the Southern Alps by car or train from Christchurch to Greymouth. Equally perfect to include in your New Zealand South Island honeymoon.
All rooms have large ensuite bathrooms with hairdryers, toiletries, heated towel racks, heated demisting mirrors and robes. All rooms also have flatscreen TVs, central heating and double glazed windows, table and comfortable chairs for your comfort, refrigerator and complimentary tea and coffee facilities. Telephone and free wifi internet facilities are available to guests.
There is a separate guest entrance to all suites.
All rooms face northeast enjoying the sunrise, with the two ground floor rooms opening onto a large deck to enable guests to enjoy the sunny outdoors and listen to the birdsong in the native bush surrounding the lodge. The first floor (upstairs) rooms have access to the deck from the great room.
